Positive: This lodge is a true hidden gem. The owners are practising guardianship of this piece of rainforest and land and it’s a beautifully, and thoughtfully cultivated space. The ‘maloca’ was so pretty with really thoughtful detail….and the bed and pillows were excellent quality. I was able to work and then relax in the grounds. Breakfast was wonderful and I loved having my own kitchen- and resident frog in the bathroom.

Negative: I wish I had had longer to explore on the bikes and seen the sanctuary/ rescue centre nearby.
