Summary: Firstly the positives: the apartment was excellently situated with the main attractions, shops, restaurants and train station in easy walking distance. Located in a vibrant and bustling neighbourhood. Check in process was very easy with the rental company sending us directions in the run up to our stay. Overall though, we were pretty disappointed. The apartment could be very nice but is in need of some serious attention. There was ripped artwork on the walls, cobwebs, stains on the bedsheets and sofa, dirty marks on the walls, brown spatters on the bedside table and in the bathroom. The secure entry was broken as was the light in the downstairs lobby. There also wasn't any soap in the bathroom when we arrived. The kitchen knives were very blunt and the TV didn't work. Most disappointing was that the balcony was covered in scaffolding which spoiled the view (this was not mentioned when we booked and was one of the reasons we picked this apartment). Even if the view wasn't blocked, I would not have used the balcony as it appears to be crumbling away and looks very unsafe. We did get a partial refund but only after reminding them several times to refund us. Overall, I would not recommend this apartment.
