Summary: The cottage is really cute and charming, with a relaxed hippie vibe. The location is beautiful: stunning views and a lovely pool. Aside from the dogs' barking, it was a peaceful and relaxing environment.However… the cottage did have some drawbacks. Upon arrival, it wasn't clean: black mold in the bathroom, a dirty kitchen and pans, an unhygienic bathroom, and the shower drain barely drained, meaning you quickly found yourself standing in a layer of mold-covered water. The screens didn't stay in place properly, and the knife set was of terrible quality. A large picnic table was uncomfortable because it was far too far from the benches. No oven, no Wi-Fi, and no air conditioning, but we knew that already.The entrance to the pool was partially blocked by a large bush, meaning you literally had to crouch down to the pool, leaving welts on your skin. The pool was supposed to be cleaned twice a week, but we didn't see anyone for a week. Fishing out some trash yourself isn't a big deal, but a net with holes won't get you very far.The welcome was brief and rushed; the owner was back in the car within five minutes. No time for questions or explanations.All in all: a beautiful place with potential, but the maintenance and service could definitely be better – especially considering the high price we paid.
