Green Tourism UK recently assessed the lodge and rated it with a Gold Standard Award with a score of 87%. The lodge also has both green walls and green roofs to enhance the biodiversity of the site. The lodge looks over open fields and has its own private terrace. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a small utility room with washing machine, TV with Sky and free wifi.
