Beautiful wood carvings and a stately thatched roof give you an immediate impression of rural life in Texel. And then there is its unique location: in the middle of a small hamlet, with views of the dyke. At most, the peace will be disturbed by a tractor, cyclists, or a pair of geese.
The Florijn 2 is one of 4 farmhouse lodges, its entrance is the door on the far right. The lodge features a fully equipped kitchen which forms the heart of the home. The home has many authentic details, such as the bedrooms with stable windows at ankle height. Behind the French windows, you will find the 2-metre high stable doors and the cosy private terrace.
The little ones can explore the 1000 m2 large playing field with a wooden playground ship next to the terrace. You can reach the dyke with a view of the sea within 10 minutes. For a fun trip on Texel, your first choice will be the lovely village of Oosterend with its characteristic village centre (4 km).
