The small holiday home is idyllically located in the countryside in Oybin, a small health resort in the district of Görlitz. You are only 200 meters from the bakery and shops, so you can always enjoy fresh bread rolls in the morning before you start an eventful day of vacation. When the weather is nice, you can relax on the glassed-in terrace and enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. Oybin is the only German town on the south side of the Zittau Mountains on the Czech border. This is also the terminus of the steam-powered Zittau narrow-gauge railway. You can find groceries and souvenirs in the town, and for larger purchases, a short trip to Zittau is a good option. There are several restaurants where you can enjoy typical Saxon and Upper Lusatian cuisine, but you can also try hearty Bohemian dishes. Activities nearby: In summer, cycling, hiking and Nordic walking are available, while in winter the area also offers great cross-country skiing opportunities.
