La Casa dei Fiori is just outside the center of Middelburg in a beautiful area next to the park with lots of water and benches. It's a 15 minute walk to the Grote Markt, but the big plus is that you can always park in front of the door for free. The closest beach is 10 minutes away by car, but even better you can go by bike. The closest beach is 20 minutes away by bike.
For children there are several small playgrounds in the area and 7 minutes by bike there is a larger free playground (Playground Hoogerzael) with water and rafts.
Next to the apartment complex there is a soccer field and a little further in the park next to the apartment there is an ice skating rink.
Within a 10-minute walk you can reach the Veerschepoort shopping center with AH, Kruidvat, a bakery, a butcher, a deli, a flower shop and a chip shop. Here you can still park for free in front of the door if you do a lot of shopping. In addition, the shops here are not as expensive as the small shops on the campsites and holiday parks.
