Positive: Everything, absolutely everything, exceeded my expectations. Mandarin Resort truly surpassed them a hundredfold. We stayed on an All Inclusive basis and were all genuinely impressed by the food – a wonderful variety of local dishes and fresh fruits, as well as excellent options for those who prefer European cuisine. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, cleaned daily with remarkable attention to detail. Every evening the housekeeping staff even offers mosquito spraying in the rooms upon request, which shows real care for the guests’ comfort. The outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped, with palm trees, flowers and lush green lawns that create a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Unlike many other hotels in Zanzibar, where power outages are quite common, here this issue has been fully resolved, ensuring uninterrupted comfort throughout the stay. As for the beach – it looks like a postcard from paradise. Fine, sparkling white sand, the typical shallow waters of Zanzibar, and a clear turquoise sea that is wonderfully calm, ideal both for swimming and for small children. And the sunsets… they will remain in my heart forever. What impressed me the most, however, was the hotel staff, who never for a moment left us without care or attention. Special thanks to the manager, Hanna. I have visited many luxury hotels around the world, but I have never before encountered a manager so genuinely dedicated to his work. He takes care of every detail so that, by the end of the day, there is not a single dissatisfied guest. Even when circumstances are beyond his control, he still does everything possible to ensure that guests feel cared for and have everything they need. I truly cannot think of a single reason not to choose Mandarin Resort when visiting Zanzibar.
