Summary: It was our Golden Wedding Anniversary, our son rang ahead to request a bottle of Prosecco for our room & our evening meal billed to him. On arrival at 14.30 we checked in and relaxed in our room with a glass of fizz or two, we went down for dinner at 18.00. Our meal, the staff and service were faultless. After our meal we purchased another bottle of Prosecco to take back to our room, 😱 shock, horror, £32.95, that ruined our evening. We had a great breakfast Sunday morning before leaving for home. Speaking to my son at home ref, the cost of Prosecco he says, "it's a lot more than that when someone else takes it to your room for you" 😡 PS. I was also charged twice and am now awaiting a refund.
