Summary: An historic former railway station residence with loads of character and space overlooking the river yet a few mins walk to the old town and 15 mins to the new town (with supermarkets etc) at the top of the hill. The house is very clean and with comfortable beds - and quiet - so you will sleep well. Be aware there is a flight of stairs up to the main level and another flight to additional bedroom. Only suggestion is that it would be handy to have a washing machine and microwave over, otherwise well equipped and furnished. Recommended. The town itself has many quaint well preserved late medieval houses and other public buildings.
