Minutes to beautiful Second Valley Beach
We love Second Valley so much, we decided we wanted to share our holiday home with everyone. With 4 bedrooms, 3 with QS beds and a double bunk room for the kids, everyone can rest comfortably here. The open plan lounge/dining/kitchen is perfect for entertaining with an 8 person dining table and 4 bar stools along the kitchen island providing seating for 12. The large lounge suite also provides the opportunity for everyone to enjoy time together in this space. Leading out to the undercover verandah and decking area with bbq and outdoor lounge, this is a great spot to enjoy the fabulous rural views, a relaxing drink and cool evening breezes.
The kitchen has all amenities including coffee pod machine (Aldi pods), Microwave, Convection Oven and all utensils, etc.
You will need to bring your own drinking water however as the water is provided from an underground supply.
The house is cooled by evaporative air conditioning and the lounge/dining area also has a reverse cycle cooling/heating unit for your comfort.
The master suite also provides a welcome retreat for parents with an ensuite bathroom and wall mounted tv.
BEDDING: Pillows, quilts and mattress protectors provided but please BYO Sheets and towels. Linen packages are also available for hire at guests own expense through the Second Valley Caravan Park Kiosk.
Pepper's Place is also accessibility friendly with a ramp to the front entrance suitable for wheelchairs and rollator walkers, the entire floorplan is a flat surface with no steps or stairs and the ensuite bathroom is wheelchair accessible with grab rails and a shower stool if needed (not a roll-in shower however).
With Leonards Mill (sorry currently closed for renovations) on the doorstep to Pepper's Place you can enjoy a fine dining experience as they source only local Fleurieu Peninsula produce and take in the history of this 161 year old building, or just enjoy a few local wines. (Check website for menu/prices/opening days/times).
Second Valley Beach is a 2 minute drive away with the local Second Valley Jetty Kiosk there if you have forgotten anything, or would like to enjoy a great meal from their takeaway menu.
For those who love to catch their own dinner, there is fabulous jetty fishing from the Second Valley jetty or if you're a boatie, the Wirrina Boat Ramp is just a few minutes drive away as well.
Second Valley, voted one of the best beaches in Australia, offers stunning views of the coastline and is popular for swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving where you may catch sight of the leafy sea dragon. Being only 90km South of the Adelaide CBD and between Normanville/Yankalilla and their popular cafe's and pubs including Links Lady Bay plus the Cape Jervis Ferry service to Kangaroo Island.
