Positive: Within easy reach of Beamish Museum and Beamish Hall which is where we wanted to visit and lots of lovely places to choose from for Sunday lunch nearby. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas with lamps/ light on for our arrival and a very generous hamper of goodies supplied. Very well equipped with everything we needed and a nice message from the host after we arrived to check everything was ok. I would highly recommend The Chase.
