Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The food was excellent, freshly cooked and presented well. Staff were all friendly. The location was brilliant for exploring. Parking on site was a bonus.

Negative: The breakfast buffet area was cluttered with staff items, not an appealing space. Cereals left out all day and fresh fruit. We noticed this when walking through from the bedroom to the restaurant. The bedroom was very creaky, floorboards and pipes, kept waking us up!

Summary: Cosy country pub with great food.
