Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property was very well equipped and was very clean. The owner had gone to the trouble of making it Christmassy with a tree and decorations which we hadn't expected. The owner had also provided some bear necessities which was nice as it was Christmas and the shops were shut. We both liked the clean bathroom and the facilities, it was a good use of the space.

Negative: We liked all of it. The bed was a bit bouncy and had a bit of a hump in the middle but we slept ok. We usually steam all our veg, properties never have steamers, but we made do with the steel colander and a sauce pan.

Summary: Great place to stay and interesting train history.
