With only a handful of restaurants, shops, and surf schools, it is easy to get around. It has something for everyone, world-class waves for surfers, beautiful beaches for families, and a famous festival scene for music lovers. It feels like home, come see for yourself, you won't want to leave!
Getting Around:
It is convenient to have a car if you plan to visit restaurants and shops, or go surfing in Venao. However, once in Venao, you can easily get around on foot. As a small town, everything is close by and just minutes away from the ocean.

Starting August, the neighboring property will be undergoing construction. While it’s not on our land, guests may notice daytime noise and activity in the area during working hours from Monday to Friday. We’ve adjusted our pricing to reflect this temporary change, so you can enjoy Almanglar’s beautiful setting, views, and amenities at a reduced rate. If you’re comfortable with the possibility of daytime noise, we’re confident that you’ll still find it to be a special place to stay.
Please Note: From January to March, Playa Venao typically experiences strong winds. While this can sometimes cause noticeable noise around the house, it should not interfere with the regular use of the property. We want to ensure you’re aware of this natural weather pattern so you can plan your stay comfortably.
